I’m inspired by nature and wildlife, its beauty and brilliance, and paint wildlife in realistic and abstract form giving presence to nature’s energy and life-force. I also write, creative word and rhythmic poetry.

Water & Woodland
Post lockdown, after moving to a new area, I found a beautiful river and woodland. I’d seen a forest in the distance whilst I was driving one day, it got my attention. A month later I heard a voice in my mind say “turn left here, take this road…” I pulled up to park and I found my forest.

The words about this river and its wildlife, kept flowing like the river, sometimes quickly and wild, sometimes quietly and softly. Paintings also arrived, words and ink finding their way onto the page, and my studio started to fill up with the growing connection to this special landscape.
